Sugarcane Trading - Campaign Shoot

Generally once a month I'll have one 'big photo shoot' ... one that takes a lot of planning, a lot of sourcing, it'll be a shoot that's scheduled 3 months in advance. (most of my work is for regular clients, that I do ongoing shoots for, that don't take much 'sorting out' before the actual day).

So back in May the 'big photo shoot' was for Sugar Cane Trading. They are a wholesaler/retailer of handmade homewares ... floor rugs, hall runners, door mates, pendant lighting and decorative bowls.

The Sugarcane Trading team consists of brother and sister team, Sally & Tim. This gorgeous duo, came all the way from Sydney to have me style and photograph their second campaign shoot. Why did they choose me to do their styling & photography work? ... well generally as you would know, Sydney is expensive! ... and this extends to photographers and stylists. What I can offer is worth them driving and flying up from Sydney. Instead of having to pay 'delivery' costs, Tim hired a van and drove the products up himself, Sally flu up too ... then they were both able to help out on the photo shoot, and be assured their vision for their products was bringing brought to life the way they wanted.

Here's a testimonial from Sally, after our latest shoot:

Sally & Tim's latest homewares collection for Sugarcane Trading is nothing short of beautiful. The colours are vibrant, and the quality is of a high standard. Read about their sustainably sourced and created products here. They also started a charity, The Sugarcane Trust, to help enrich the lives of the artisans behind their products.

Get inspired, and browse some of the latest Sugarcane Trading campaign shoot below, we went with 2 distinct styles for this shoot, hamptons and boehmian and used The Beach Furniture's store in Bundall to style with Sugarcane Trading's homewares collection.
