Cash's Toddler Bedroom Reveal
New house, new bedrooms for everyone … Cash got upgraded to a ‘big boy bed’ literally the night Aurora ended up being born, and we are so proud of how quickly he took to his new bed (with so many changes going on in his little life all so close together in time) … he loves his new room.
The bed is one I picked out from Ikea before he was even born, I love it’s versatility, being able to change it as the years go by, to adapt to the new use we need it for. So at the moment the way we have it set up means he can’t ‘fall out’ of it during his sleep. I probably should decorate the top frame of it somehow, if anyones got any ideas? swing them my way please.
The bedding I purchased from Adairs (I believe this quilt has since being discontinued, so luckily I grabbed it when I did) … the throw is also from Adairs (a couple of years ago) and the green cushion is from H&M.
Everything else you will recognise from his previous bedroom in our unit, the green rug is from ‘The Land of Nod’, the drawers were Mitch’s parents that we sanded back, painted and added new drawer handles to, the map is ‘Black List Studio’ … the book shelf, Mitch & I made ourselves, the hooks for his hats are from Anthropologie and the ‘quote’ artwork was made by my sister.
The curtains are of course by A Curtains and Blinds, and we painted the walls in his room ‘Silkwort’ by Dulux.
When we do the kitchen/living room renovations, we will be re-using the carpet that is in the living space (that is brand new, was put in by the previous owners), to carpet Cash’s bedroom. I also have Cash’s wallpaper from is first room, to put up on the grey wall at some point.
If you have any other questions about Cash's bedroom, let me know … and enjoy a browse below. (I’m always interested in putting more of these rooms together, get in contact if you would like an ‘e-styling’ service by me of a room or two in your own home).
